MISS BUMBLE BEE USA Congratulations on having been recommended for the Miss Bumble Bee USA pageant by a teacher in your school, dance/modeling instructor, members of your community, pageant director or other contestants. Miss Bumble Bee is the only pageant that offers workshops were young ladies can learn about safe nutrition, self-esteem, team building, self-defense, meet women in male dominated careers and other valuable tools girls need to believe in themselves in order to achieve their full potential. WHY BUMBLE BEES WEREN’T MEANT TO FLY? According to physics and the science of aerodynamics, Bumble Bees cannot fly because the size of the wings are not big enough for their large body and substantial weight! But perhaps, in spite of this fact, maybe the only reason they can fly is because they believe and think they can! This is the message we are trying to portray to our contestants. PRIZES 1. All contestants will receive beautiful medals, trophies and/or certificates among other great prizes. Everyone will feel like a winner! 2. There will be one winner (Queen) in each division. The Queens will receive a beautiful crown, sash, certificate, T-shirt and a .928 sterling silver pendant of an adorable bumble bee. They will have access to lists of reputable child actor/model agents and casting directors who are looking for new faces for TV, magazines and commercials! 3. Winners in the categories of best smile, hair and eyes will receive lovely medals. 4. The winner for the photogenic award will receive a gorgeous trophy. 5. The winners will be making appearances that will have an impact in other girl’s lives. Sponsors: Contestants may obtain sponsors from businesses, organizations, friend or family, to help pay the cost of the entry fee. We will list each sponsor in the program book and announce their sponsorship every time their contestant is on stage. Referrals: Refer a contestant, receive $10 off.
